Dolby Vision

Dolby vision is an advanced version of HDR 10, allowing 12bits of colour (68.7 billion colours) vs the 10bits (1.07 billion colours) that HDR 10 provides.

Dolby Vision comes with dynamic metadata which allows each frame to be optimised, giving the content creator greater control over the displayed images.

When buying a TV, we wouldn’t worry too much about whether a TV has HRD10+ or Dolby Vision. The overall performance of the TV itself is more important.
