Hisense 43A6BGTUK Overview
The Hisense 43A6BGTUK is a budget level 43” LED TV. It’s available at £243 at Amazon at the time of writing, which quite frankly is a bit of a steal. Of course for this price you’ll be making some compromises but considering the features bundled with the TV, it’s a great buy.
The TV features HDR10 and Dolby vision which helps produce a bright clear image. It has a good selection of apps although it does lack NowTV. The refresh rate is 60Hz so serious sports fans and gamers may want to look at a model sporting 120Hz. The viewing angle isn’t the best, although that’s in line with what you might expect for a TV at this price point. There are some reports of failed units, specifically where there’s a large grey blob in the centre of the screen. Buy from a reputable retailer to ensure you’re covered for a good returns service in case you’re affected by this. Getting support from the manufacturer shouldn’t be high on your list of expectations.
All in all, the TV performs as well as you can reasonably expect for this price. It’s got some good features and comes loaded with a good selection of apps. We think this is probably the best bang for your buck currently for this price.
